We’re looking for a creative individual who can understand a client brief, quickly translate it into a stunning visual concept then carry it through to the construction and build of the website.
The candidate will have an excellent understanding of visual communication and have experience in blending brand, marketing and strong calls to action to make useable and effective websites that deliver good results for our customers.
Main accountabilities
- To create stunning and usable design visuals that can be carried through to the development of equally impressive websites.
- To play a leadership role within the team providing the inertia to move projects forward and deliver them to client
- To liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis and managing any requests that come in
- To manage the design, production and delivery of all web projects from start to finish using internal and external resources
Skills & Experience
- Creative vision, flair and passion for web design and a portfolio to prove it
- At least 1 year of commercial web design experience
- Experienced with Adobe Fireworks
- Experienced with CSS 2
- Expert with Adobe Dreamweaver (vs 8) using templates
- Experience with Adobe Contribute an advantage
- Experience with Adobe Flash an advantage
- Working knowledge of HTML, ASP & XML
The role will include creating concepts and visuals in Fireworks for client approval, site build using Dreamweaver (8) templates and library items and extensive use of CSS. You’ll be working as part of a small team but you’ll be expected to learn quickly and solve problems without supervision.
